After a couple months of trying Google Chrome, I gave up.

1.) Every download... each and every download... starts in a default folder (My Documents/Downloads). When you navigate to a new folder to save something (like a picture or .PDF file), each time you have to re-navigate. It's annoying, but workable.

2.) Yahoo! mail stopped letting me reply to messages that were originally send in HTML format. I could hit reply, but not actually enter any text, even if I changed it to plain text. Since I'm still jobsurfing, this was a major FUBAR, and fatal.

It's also a new event in the last few days. I don't know what caused it, but I'm not going to spend time to figure it out.

I have now migrated to Firefox. I'll try that for a while.

My brother not only works for Google, but worked on Chrome and still is... do you mind if I pass this along?

I have IE, FF3 and Google Chrome all installed at home. I use Chrome at work for personal surfing, IE for the intranet.

I run into odd stuff in Chrome with form loading, or certain script behavior. I use FF3 at home when I run into something Chrome chokes on.

You can change the default download directory under Tools, Options, Minor Tweaks.

I stopped using Chrome because I didn't find it to be significantly better than Firefox and therefore wasn't worth my time learning.
