First, the movie that I thought would not happen appears to be going ahead with a budget. It's not a huge budget, but it's not insignificant, either. Figure in the price range of a new car. It also means I may be selling some of my lighting equipment to the production company.
Second, it looks like the home equity loan is good to go. It's significantly less money, but it's enough to get the roof replaced and finish up the front porch, and the payments aren't killer.
Third, my left eye started out this morning out of focus, and continued well into the day. In line with that, I had a sharp pain in my neck on the left side. A handful of ibuprofen later and the pain is all but gone and my vision is back to near normal, but it's still worrisome.
Meeting today going over the last software changes released to production. Got to hear feedback from the guys who handle all of the tracking and installations, and it was good feedback; it also reinforces the need for a complete redesign.
