For those of you who don't know and might actually care, JL is a conservative radio talk show host that used to be on AM1500 a few years ago. He moved to North Carolina in 2003, but decided he wanted to move back to the Twin Cities, and was given a chance to do that by KTLK-FM, who chose to kill off the Lambert & Janecek show to do it.
Now I actually really liked Lambert & Janecek. I thought it was a great idea: pitting a liberal and a conservative "against" each other, and letting them talk about various topics.
Apparently though, the idea of someone with a liberal viewpoint is too much for conservative talk radio, so now they have it wrapped in a little bundle with Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and now Jason Lewis.
This will likely end my relationship with KTLK-FM. I started listening to the station a while back because I was so fed up with the Twin Cities radio scene (it's boring, yo).
So, restless, I will likely go station-shopping. And unless I find something that catches my fancy, I may eschew radio altogether.
