I feel a little like "America's Mouse Wanted" with this, but the little bastards have invaded the house and they are very much unwelcome. I think when we had the warm stretch they became active, and when it got cold again, they decided to invade where it was warm.
In the mouse count, I have not included the four baby mouses that I uncovered in cleaning out the pantry-- that was just too sad, and they weren't captured so much as swept up. I'm only counting the adult mousies that I catch in the live traps.
This is really not the week for snow. I have to get the trailer ready as well as get shelves uncouthed and the dining room table disassembled, and the Room Where No One Walks debilitated enough to get the Gulag-Bed out and wrapped in plastic. Plus I was hoping to finish getting the lights installed, but that's looking like less of a reality.
