amamus, amatis, amant.

We all have different ways of loving. I love my dog, but I'm not expecting her to give me any hot tongue action. I love my friends, but I don't pick my friends' noses (except for... well, you know who you are).

And self-love has a different meaning than loving yourself, though there is some shading and room for wordplay there.

(Though they may look similar, never assume that you can use hand sanitizer in place of K-Y jelly.)

How do you love? Is there respect? Jealousy? Convenience? Handcuffs?

If you were a piece on a chessboard, what piece would you be? How about your love?

I'm serious about the hand sanitizer, BTW.

I don't know enough about chess either... Maybe I'd be a Queen though, since I tend to be a bit demanding?

I feel jealousy, insecurity & I have learned the hard way that trust must be earned. Respect is important, but if I know it is a tryst or short-term relationship, it's not as important. Well, to a degree. I mean, I don't want to hook up with someone I think is a real low-life.
Oh, and I like handcuffs & other such toys, but you knew that already. :)
