When I cut into the cucumber, it "bleeds" a little, mostly from the rind. I usually lick this bleed (I know, a little weird), and it's got a really weird flavor/texture... more texture than flavor. It's not really bad, just weird, like it's almost grainy if the grains were really small. I'm really curious as to what causes this, because just eating the rind by itself doesn't give this texture.
