Would you take an emotional risk if you knew it wouldn't pan out, or would that just be silly?

There's a difference between facing your fears and getting hit by a truck.

Risking rejection is one thing. Risking derision is another.

A cat is not a dog.

Cows have horns. So do cars. Either one is dangerous in the wrong circumstances, but cars don't give milk.

A bird in the hand is oddly uncomfortable.

The early worm is bird food.

Second mouse gets the cheese.

Objects in mirror may swallow your soul.

If the number that I've reached is not in service, I haven't really reached it then, have I?
