So the president has ordered Harriet Miers (former Whitehouse aide) to defy a congressional subpoena, claiming executive privelege. Congress is now looking to hold Ms. Miers in contempt, saying that as a former aide, she is not coverable under executive order.

We're pretty much down to the legal showdown here between the office of the president and congress.
