Bad news 1: my new roof does not have enough damage to warrant replacement.
Bad news 2: my old gutters need to be replaced but are not covered by insurance.
Good news 1: the insurance is covering replacement of all of the siding on the house. Except for the front, and I'm doing that anyway.

Freakin' AWESOME!

I was planning on having the gutters replaced anyway, which is why I called Garrett in the first place. And the roof is still new and still fine, so no big deal there. The siding is huge though, since that was one of the big-ass future projects that I was looking at that was gonna kick my ass. Now it looks as if I will get the siding done by competent siding folks for less than what it would have cost me in materials, and that makes me verra, verra happy.

In other news, our dev team kicked major ass today and we got all of the remaining issues fixed and validated by lunchtime (okay, by 12:30 anyway), which is also awesome because it's a day early.

Dang, this is turning out to be a good day.
