Waking up at 4:15 this morning was easy. Essentially I hadn't really slept.
Fox 9/29 studios this morning. There is a whole production news staff there at 5:30 in the morning, but they're very quiet. There were a lot of Klingon jokes from the news staff; we didn't storm the news staff, but we talked about it. First time in makeup and costumes; as it turns out, my costume is similar to wearing a sleeping bag, and it's really freakin' hot. It meant I was sweating buckets, and the sweat was pooling behind my forehead appliance, starting to dissolve the adhesive and dripping down my nose and into my eyes. Gonna try and find a bit different method, maybe attaching the nose separately. Probably not at this point.
Exhausted. Sleep-deprived. Sailing through until tonight at 11:00 or so, which is more-or-less the time I'll get home. Rehearsal call is 7:30 tonight; if I get home by 6:00, that gives me just enough time to break out the snowblower. And I still need to pick up new wiper blades.
More snow Thursday. I think that's tomorrow, it's all sort of a blur.
And a quick reminder that ticket sales have picked up a whole lot, so if you're thinking of going (this Saturday kids!), get yer tickets sooner rather than later.
If you're not thinking of going, I boo you.
