All of the lighting effects are good for something, there are several moods expressed in the variations that you've got.

My only critique would be that it's too difficult to tell that you're in a car. The shot is from the passenger's POV, so I'm wondering if you could set the camera a bit further back, maybe outside the vehicle, so that the viewer would be able to see more of the surrounding car bits.

I could tell you were in a car...
I liked the "it is dark, I am dark..."

Also, with some lighting to show movement and a moving background, it would be really obvious.

So there, I was just plain rong. ;P

Damn near poetry.

Yes indeed, I had much the same thought-- I'm working on an exterior mount for that very reason. It does make the lighting more difficult because you have more of the interior visible and you can't hide the lights as much.

Can't you just saw the top and sides off your car? I saw that on a TV show once.

Heh. I suppose I could hit a junkyard somewhere and get a 'Sploder cab and mount it on a trailer, but somehow it just seems like too much.

Naaaah. You'd have nowhere to store it.

Better to just hack up the car that you need for work everyday.

Better yet, trade in your useful hauling car for a teeny, un-hauling convertible and tear the doors off.

Is that the on-board camera audio? Sounds pretty good!

My thought, too. Really clean.

Marmot: All of the shots looked good. GG thought the last one looked muddy; I disagree. Therefore I'm hiding because she'll hurt me.

The last one is muddy-- Darthcam eats light like a gorilla's ass. I only had a couple of fluorescents and a 3-watt LED obie, and the background was lit with the ambient low-pressure sodium lights in the back. I barely had enough light to focus, and the lens was wide open, like six stops beyond "normal".

Yeah, but I was only about 2 feet from the camera and the windows were shut. A car makes for a dandy iso booth in a pinch.

yes, it looks like a vehicle. make the background move, it looks like a moving vehicle.

I'm not sure "beautiful" is quite the right word, but thanks. :)
