It's a Philips 30PW850H 30" widescreen HD-ready TV.
It's a CRT, not an LCD or plasma. It's 16:9 format, and has component inputs for 480p/1080i. It does not have an ATSC tuner, it does not have an HDMI input. It's the one in my living room, if you've seen it. Plays widescreen DVDs beautifully, particularly with 480p inputs.
Since I've moved back here and I don't have cable, I don't really use it that much: I pretty much watch whatever I'm gonna watch in the bedroom. Before Christmas, I don't think I've actually had it on since before CONvergence, and I'm thinking of getting rid of it to clear out some space and help reduce the clutter.
I bought it for $750 originally in May of 2004. I'm thinking maybe $350 for it, and I'll throw in the matching stand. It would be perfect for someone with digital cable or satellite wanting to bump up to HD.
It is heavy. If you live in a third-floor apartment with no elevator, I'd say probably not.
