It wasn't the long walk, but the short one. It's normally about a 20-minute walk, but we took 30, mostly because I was moving a bit awkwardly. I seem to pull to the right.

Thing is, that's almost a mile. It's a normal-length walk-- the short one-- but it shows that I can actually make it if everything is going well. And it's the longest I've walked in one shot since the surgery.

I sweated. A lot. And I couldn't have done it without the vicodin and the belly-band, but I did it.

Consider it a milestone.
