Yep. Can't eat meat yet either, unless it's really soft and blenderized. And even then, it's dicey.

Episodic vomiting. Fuck me with a rope, this sucks.

Might want to read my food suggestions AFTER the whole technicolor yak thing has ended.

Can you try... dare I say it?... baby food? Soft and blenderized already. Then there's none of the torture of having to cook, cut and blenderize.

Also, what about the tiny cans of Deviled Ham sandwich spread? The cans are small so it would last you a few servings, relatively inexpensive (as I recall), and still not have a lot of waste.

I have the cool uberblender so I can make my own blender chow, and in theory I should be weaning onto "normal" food between this week and next. Some stuff works just fine: the imitation crab meat is wonderful, and blenderized chicken salad goes well. Ramen noodles and bread don't. It's weird having to learn by trial and error, as it doesn't really seem to have any logic to it at all.

hey, my friend eriker is also in the new stages of recovering from bariatric surgery, and has some similar issues. she's also kinda shy, but maybe you two could put your heads together, or at least commiserate... are you getting enough protein?

I'm focusing on protein primarily, but it's hard to eat 60 grams in a day.

I'll drop her a line.
