Why is there no string cheeze other than mozzarella?

cause the bacteria in mozerella makes strings.

and cottage cheese makes turds or stuff - ya know sandy texture.

maybe that is just one instance of the mozerella and there is a whole connected series of mozerella through time and..

Well, I know Provolone is too coagulated to allow for much ease in tearing into strips and Cheddar is too milky, it would end up getting all over your hands.

Colby is too often married to Jack and who wants Muenster strings?
