It's been a while since my insomnia reared its ugly head enough for me to write about it. Lotsa number-stuff running through my head, along with the part of my brain that groks process modifications spinning like a left-footed squirrel on crack, which makes for really fuktup dreams.

So awake-ostity, at least for a bit.

It gets funky when that analysis process turns inward and tries to analyze human factors that don't fit well into a linear process; you get things like trying to assign a pint value to your leg as a whole, then trying to reconcile that with summing the point values of the different components of your leg, while all the while recognizing that your leg has a dynamic quality that defies linearization and trying to work that into the effort estimation.

Is it any wonder I can't sleep?
