What color are your kitchen plates?
Kitchen plates are black. As opposed to my bathroom plates which are not.

What book are you reading?
I have about six books that I'm currently reading, Three of them are on filmmaking, one is on Cthulhu. The remaining ones are home-improvement books.

What's on your mouse pad?
A very tiny condo.

I have a trackball. No mousepads.

Favorite board game?
Wow... I can't think of one favorite. I think Arkham Horror would rise to the top if it weren't such a bookkeeping nightmare. I have Rail Baron, which is fun for more than two people. Pente for two is nice. Risk, Stratego, Backgammon... All fun.

Favorite magazine?
I have a subscription to Geek. I let my sub to Wired expire because I ended up not reading it. Embedded Systems Journal, American Cinematographer, Cinefex, DV.

Least favorite smell?
Probably either dogshit or rotting meat.

What is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning?
It usually depends on the dream I've been having and whether I'm waking up from the alarm or the critters.

b>Favorite color?</b>
Probably a deep cobalt blue or indigo. Alice Blue gel with a 5600K HMI is real purty.

Least favorite color?
Apartment beige.

How many rings before you answer the phone?
Depends on who's calling.

What is most important in life?
Probably the 'i'.

Of all the possible circles of hell, which are you most likely to be assigned to?
Lust, caution.

Chocolate or vanilla?
Depends on the context. Having the choice is nice. I'd say probably chocolate more often than Vanilla.

Do you like to drive fast?
I used to. Now I'm more about the fuel economy.

Do you sleep with a stuffed animal?
Nope. The critters are animal enough.

Storms - cool or scary?
I've never been scared by a storm.

What was your first car?
1970 AMC Hornet. Yellow and black, with green and red plaid upholstery.

If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Meeting dead people is generally boring and smelly, but if we're talking bring them back from the dead, I'd have to say Albert Einstein. Or maybe Samuel Clemens.

Do you eat the stems of broccoli?
Not just the stems. Though I like to peel them first.

If you could have any job, what would it be?
I've always wanted to inherit, but I don't have the qualifications. Famous movie star and sex symbol would be cool. And filmmaker is always something in the reasonably attainable bin.

If you could have any hair color, what would it be?
Seeing as I could have pretty much any hair color, I'd probably just leave it as-is and let you take from that what you will. Or possibly the blue that comes from Cherenkov radiation.

Have you ever been in love?
I'll say yes and leave it at that.

Is the glass half-full or half-empty?
Twice as big as it needs to be.

Favorite movie?
Again, hard to say. Alien comes to the top of the list a lot, so I'll go with that.

Do you type with your fingers on the correct keys?
If I didn't, you wouldn't be able to read what I was typing now, would you?

What's under your bed?
The floor.

Favorite sport to watch?
Naked Jell-O wrestling.

What is your single biggest fear?
That vegetables are sentient, and control the afterlife. Or maybe bees.

Favorite TV shows?
I watch so little TV anymore, but shows that I do like: Reaper, House, CSI

Ketchup or mustard?
Depends on what it's on. And the mustard: spicy brown, pupon, or Chinese hot are all winners.

Hamburgers or hot dogs?
Since I can't really eat hot dogs anymore, hamburgers win.

Favorite soft drink?
Used to be Diet Coke with lime. Now it's Crystal Light and Iced Tea, and maybe some sugar-free Red Bull.

The best places you have ever been?
Again, judgment call. We used to have a cabin up in the Boundary Waters that has a lot of very fond memories.

What screen saver is on your computer right now?
My screen just goes to black after a timeout.

Burger King or McDonald's?
Yak. I can have Wendy's chili.

Do you know someone right now that you could fall in love with?
See, this is a totally unfair question.

What did you do yesterday?
Worked, went to Home Depot and 'Nards to buy a bandsaw and building materials, cut up a bunch of wood into manageable pieces, started assembling the bandsaw, fed the pets, met the ex's new dog, probably a few more things in there somewhere.

What's your favorite food?
Hell... fat-free cottage cheese.

Where will you be in 20 years?
Smiling and happy.

Who is your favorite classical composer?
Wow. Rimsky-korsikov (for Scheherezade), Chopin, Mozart, John Williams.
