Decided to try 36-inch molds instead of 18 inch; it involves less cutting and thus less chance for upfuckery.
Also, melamine is really tough to cut. I killed one saw blade in the process and had to wax it a couple of times to make it through the first set of cuts.
Anyway, the first set of cuts are done, but I think I'm going to have to delve into my plywood stash for the hood, as I can't make the remaining bits out of the melamine for want of a thickness. At least I was in-brain enough to get the 4-ply B/C, which will be strong enough for its purpose.
The profile of the sills is 4" deep, a 2" high flat face, and a 22-1/2° rise up from there.
