For those of you playing along, I did indeed vote yesterday, fast and painless-- there was one person in front of me, so technically I had to stand in line for about 30 seconds. And last night I went over to Tiff's place for some election-night revelings (she has cable, so Comedy Central was the channel du choixe). My prediction of 305 electoral votes was surpassed by a wide margin (holy shit!), and the moment of the night for me was hearing the sound of horns honking and people shouting in celebration all through the city. It was a real revelation of just how connected the moment was.

History in the making, sharing the moment with someone close. All in all an unforgettable night.
