This morning I went to uncork the heads, only to discover that the silicone had not cured properly, and all I had was a gooey mess. I've spent the morning trying to salvage what I could and trying to figure out what happened. Best guess is that the mold release that I used inhibited the cure, so I re-sealed the heads and used a different mold release.

Now I have to wait until about 5:00 to find out if that was the problem.

Best case is that they will come out fine and I'll have to do the hairing tonight.

Worst case is that they don't come out, and I have to punt.

Call time is 9:00 tomorrow morning.

It's gonna be a long night.
