Riding the avalanche

Life conspires, I perspires.

Many things to do, and a lot of things that have to happen RightFuckingNow. Making dubs of tapes that suddenly have to be delivered tomorrow, Barb needs the truck so she needs them by early morning and she won't be back until very late, and I need to prep for the shoot on Saturday. Won't be able to load the truck until Saturday morning.

And I still need a card table.

Bloody pusmonkeys.

Still need to work on the website. I have the Haunted Commercials logoid on the front page in a hugely ugly way, reminding me that I need to get this done. And I need to re-cut some older commercials to have genericized versions that I can sell, as well as re-loading some others.

Then again, I'm not bored.

I didn't get to make my camera dolly this week due to the whole not having money thing. Needs to be done, but next week is already occupied by another project. Dolly is required by the 22nd, so there is a very short time to make all of this stuff work.

It also looks like I will be acting in the first commercial, as one of my actors had to cancel. And I don't have storyboards drawn, so I will have to do some quickies tomorrow.

Somehow, I think I'm gonna be busy.

Questions...

1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
Houses: 6
Apartments: 4
Cabin: 1

2. Which was your favorite and why?
I don't think any one was a favorite. They all had their good and bad points. Maybe the house in Grand Rapids-- big house, big yard, lots of explore territory.

3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?
Easy. Stressful. It's a buttload of work, and usually it means that something major has happened that forced the move.

4. What's more important, location or price?
Location, but price is certainly a factor.

5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
Hot tub.
Woods.
Water (like a pond or stream).
Seclusion.
Big space for studio, garage, workshop.
Secret passages.
Library.
Caves filled with rare gems.
Conveniently located close to major metropolitan area.

Same shit, different day.

The great mousehunt has netted yet another little critter. This one is very active, and the kitties are interested. I need to take him quite far away for the release.

And I lost several hours of last night to my first play of Deus Ex. Oy. I get the impression I will probably lose more hours. Oy. By the time I finished the first phase, the sun was up. Oy. Way up. Oy.

Got a few calls from different recruiters for a job-- apparently the same position. I found out from an insider that the company is planning on promoting someone from within the company, but they have to list the job externally in order to satisfy their internal crap.
Decidedly neutral today.

The Great Mouse Escape!

The little bastard chewed his way through the secret mouse jail, and he escaped in the kitchen. Of course, now he has to contend with the kitties. And the kitties like mousies.
