Well, finally back home.

Went to see Planetfall on Friday for the premiere. Sold out show, room full of geeky types, and a whole lot of fun was had. It's actually a lot less cheesy than I was expecting, and you get to see 433 die! Worth the admission price.

Go see it. Or at least Get the DVD. It's not an Oscar contender, but it is a hoot, and it was made by a bunch of guys with passion.

Saturday, I spent the morning with Barb. Started out with chopping ice off of the sidewalk, then fixing a flat tire, then going to breakfast-turned-lunch. There was talking. There was crying. There always is. Riding a fine line between being nice and being honest. Trying to be both.

Eventually back home, where I crawled into bed for a nap. Needed. Then a jaunt up to Tony & Kristi's for some low-key company, and eventually back home.

Today was a tiny bit of Barb-time again, doing some catch-up LJ & e-mail stuff, and collecting all the tax info & bills that I could find. And some chat time.

Driving back to Iowa, I hit a snowstorm that sucked. Added an extra half-hour to the drive, and a lot of tension. Bleah.

Back at the apartment now. In a movie mind.

Abbreviated. Tense. I'll talk more about it later, but right now I really want to just unwind.
