Exhausted. We finished shooting the footage for the opening, with the exception of some exteriors and any retakes that we need to do. I think T said it was somewhere around 90 minutes of footage. Final scene is probably 3-4 minutes long, or So T thinks. I'm betting longer.
It's some good-looking footage. This is probably the best stuff that we've shot so far.
missmollygrue amazed us all with some fantastic makeup, I came up with a really bizarre and cheap blood recipie that worked well enough to make people squirm.

I'll tell you more later. Right now I must sleep the sleep of the sleepy.

From Miss: Jane Kaycee.
Abidjan Cote D' I voire.

Dear One,
For my safety and security of my future I am making this proposal to you for our mutual benefit. This however is not mandatory nor will I in any manner compel you to honour it against your will. I am Miss: Jane Kaycee, 22 years old and the only daughter of my late parents Mr.and Mrs. Kaycee. My father was a highly reputable busnness magnet-(a cocoa merchant)who operated in the capital of Ivory coast during his days. It is sad to say that he passed away mysteriously during one of his business trips abroad on the 12th.july. 2004. Though his sudden death was linked or rather suspected to have been masterminded by an uncle who travelled with him at that time. But God knows the truth! My mother died when I was just 4 years old, and since then my father took me so special. Before his death on july 12th, 2004 he called the secretary who accompanied him to the hospital and told him that he has the sum of Twelve million, Five hundred thousand United State Dollars.(USD$12.500,000) deposited in a bank here in Abidjan which he use my name as next of kin .

He further told him that he deposited the money with my name as the next of kin, and finally told him to tell me where to find the documents of the deposit which he said was in possession of his lawyer in sealed documents held by him and asked me to collect it from him and all the necessary documents to this fund. I am just 22 years old and a first year university undergraduate and really don't know what to do.

Now I want a trust worthy person who can help me to transfer this money and provide an account overseas where I can transfer this funds. This is because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant political crisis here in Ivory coast. The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life.I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards. Your suggestions and ideas will be highly rega

And it trails off there.

I can only believe that my love was brutally murdered while composing this missive, and I shall be eternally sadddened at the loss of what could have been.

So yeah, finally woke up at 3:00 enough to down a handful more ibuprofen and hie my ass out to Walgreen's for more Claritin-D. Moving caused waves of nausea. Even driving did a pretty good number on making me want to spew. And since it is a product containing pseudoephedrine, I had to show ID and sign the logbook-- which apparently they now check to see how frequently you are buying pseudoephedrine products.

I'm about to crawl back into the bed I think. Sinuses are better, but the nausea is still there. Think really nasty hangover, but without any booze.

Then send me your pity. And possibly a slightly slutty nurse to comfort me in my time of need.

Woke up to the unmistakeable smell of someone cooking chicken thighs on a charcoal grill. Wow-- I'm hungry. Sat up, nigh unto vomited.

Not a good combination.

I'm a-try soup I think.

Oooh, hey, welding stuff. alisgray reminded me of the learning-to-weld thing that so many folks seem to have an interest in. This is probably gonna end up being a bunch of smaller sessions just because of limited resources (I only have one welder and one spare viewing helmet), so there will be some flexibility, but I was thinking that this should probably be some sort of a make-your-own-thing kind of workshop. I was thinking of something fairly simple like a picture frame (a welded picture frame could look pretty cool) or a stool, but I thought I'd get some input as to what those interested parties might want to do.

Remember, if you've never welded before, it's probably not something that you want to take on as an aesthetic project or something structural or safety related. An art project could be cool.

Second is scheduling. I know Fest is here, and Burning Man is coming soon, and I am up to my cloaca in crocodiles with film stuff and house construction. By the time I get free-ish, it may need to be indoors, in my scary basement. If you are allergy-prone, it may be better to wait until spring.

I do have a project that I need to do for moi-- welding a camera dolly frame-- which I need to do soonish. I could probably have an observer or two just as an intro.

Let me know if you're interested.
