As I've gone into my relationship and sexual woes, I've had a number of people independently bring up the consideration that I should look to the Professionals (i.e. prostitutes) to sate some of my baser desires. And while I'm sure we all agree that it is not a substitute for a relationship in the long run, as a stopgap measure it could be sort of like a pressure-relief valve, and better for my mental health in the long run.
But I have a question. If I were to turn for some time to the lovely ladies of the evening exclusively to sate my carnal urges...

...would that make me a buysexual?

Thank you, I'll be here all night.

Fall movies coning out:

The Wallace & Gromit Movie: Curse of the Wererabbit Oct. 7th
You know this will be good.

Doom Oct. 21st
Not a lot of hope for this one. It's the Rock. And Andrsej Bartkowiak's successes as a director of photography don't exactly speak for his skills as a director (Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave).
Decidedly action-flick-no-substance fodder.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Nov 18th
So far, so good. New director, Mike Newell. Had a good run in the early 90's, a bit faltering in the late 90's early 00's. New writer, Michael Goldenberg (Contact, Peter Pan). Seems competent. Best news that I can see is the casting for Lord Voldemort: Ralph Fiennes.

V for Vendetta March 16th (really really late fall...)
Seen the trailer, looks like it could rock. Also looks like it could be way over the top with effects. James McTeigue directing, in his firs role as helmer. He's been primarily first AD on a number of notable films... like Revenge of the Sith and Matrix Reloaded. It's also written and produced by the Wachowski Brothers (or should I say siblings), which again could be good or bad: they did write Bound.
Still, to paraphrase: I've got a bad feeling about this.

Modern, Cool Nerd
69 % Nerd, 69% Geek, 43% Dork
For The Record: A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions. You scored better than half in Nerd and Geek, earning you the title of: Modern, Cool Nerd. Nerds didn't use to be cool, but in the 90's that all changed. It used to be that, if you were a computer expert, you had to wear plaid or a pocket protector or suspenders or something that announced to the world that you couldn't quite fit in. Not anymore. Now, the intelligent and geeky have eked out for themselves a modicum of respect at the very least, and "geek is chic." The Modern, Cool Nerd is intelligent, knowledgable and always the person to call in a crisis (needing computer advice/an arcane bit of trivia knowledge). They are the one you want as your lifeline in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (or the one up there, winning the million bucks)! Congratulations!
