Got a call from Robjn last night, worried about her cat who had gotten outside through a freak occurrence. While we were on the phone, he came back, so all is well.

And when I went to let Sadie outside before I went to bed, what should happen but Micha made a mad dash for the outside (Freedom!) and scrambled his way off the deck before I could get him.

Micha's nickname is "stoopi-kitty". It was cold enough last night for frost. And he got to stay out all night long. This morning, he was waiting by the back door to come back in, and was of course pissed off that I had made him wait out in the cold.

Tonight is packing for Omegacon and doing all of those last-minute things that one needs to do before going away for the weekend, like laundry, making sure bills are paid, and taking the futon mattress upstairs. Barb is going to stay at the house over the weekend so Sadie will have some company and get to do dog things, and I get to relax and not be doggie-dad for the weekend.

Packing for Omegacon:

  • Clothes

  • Games

  • Massage table

  • Oils

  • Laptop

  • Speakers

  • Lights

  • Sheets

  • Frame (?)

I'm going to be taking a break from the strict diet this weekend, since it is about the relaxing. I still plan to try and be healthy (or as healthy as one can be under the circumstances), but I'm not going to eschew solid food or anything.

I'm also planning on donating a couple of games to the Omegacon Game Collection. They're ones that I don't play anymore, but they're still perfectly good games.

Anther note: I remember that last year I did not have cell phone reception up in the boonies. Unless things have changed, it means that I will be incommunicado (at least by cell) over the weekend. If you really really need to get a hold of me, you can call The Lodge at Crooked Lake.

Oooh, there's a mini-golf course there too. I might have to try that (if they're open).

News is reasonably good. No visible damage. The spots are assumed to be protiens, which are normal.

If they persist for two more months, I go back for more tests.

Thing is they've already been persistent for a month. I doubt they're going away.

Had the dilation drops, so right now I can't see for shit. Gonna nap for a bit, then pack. Clothes in the dryer.

SO Yahoo! mail is being Teh Suxx0rz currently.

I'm taking a little break from packing and moving stuff. Moved the futon mattress upstairs, about to move the old TV into the Room Where No One Walks,
