Awake and aware, and awish that I could calm and soothe. A-cuddlin' with my pooch is gonna be happenin' sooner rather than later.
I remember the taste. Warm chocolate, just a hint of cinnamon. Sharp aroma of mint. Closed world, soft and warm, just for a little while.
I sleep with you on my dreams.
Okay, I don't have to be awake. I can sleep in today as late as I want.
Why am I up?
Squeeze my persimmons, Lumpy, I'm gonna go take a shower.
I have been usurped by stoopikitty.
The gluing is not going extremely well. I've managed to glue two pieces of foam up so far-- the rest aren't sticking. I may have to try a different adhesive yet again. I'm pretty much down to contact adhesive as a last resort before I start bringing in the heavy hitters.
Exciting, I know.
Weldwood contact cement is my friend. It seems to stick pretty much anything to anything else.
Unfortunately, it also sticks to skin. And foam. And it sticks foam to skin. Really well. Turns out you can wrap a sheet of foam that's 5 x 6 feet completely around your body.
On the plus side, it's really warm.
I think I may have scared the dog.
