I was having this discussion a couple of nights ago about Macbeth and the various stagings of it. I mentioned that I thought it would make a really good horror movie.

I got to thinking why has nobody done a movie version of Macbeth?

So I looked it up on IMDB.

They say that blood in the light of the full moon looks black. And it's true, if you look with your eyes, but there's no mistaking that it's blood. You can smell it, taste it sharp in the back of your throat like the light of a thousand eyes, burning.

In honor of the Feast of Lupercalia, I have a couple of questions for all y'all single folk (or those who are significantly single enough to consider such a thing):

Would you be interested in a Lupercalia party where names were drawn at random from a couple of boxes that would match you with someone else to be paired with for the evening?

Assume that it's not necessarily a sexually-oriented party, but might have some racy adult-ish themed activities. And it won't happen this year.

Okay, the whole back pain thing kinda railroaded me into not doing the heavy lifting thing, and I ended up snarfing a handful of ibuprofen and sucking down a couple of shots of Rumpleminze.

For those of you not in the know, alcohol really magnifies the effects of ibuprofen. And vice-versa. Something that I learned thanks to saveau and a five-pound maul last year.

So at this point in time, I am feeling very little pain. And I'm loopy as a loon.

Had a nice chat with being_isis. At least I think it was nice. See the above "loopy as a loon" statement.
