Home selling notes

Experts recommend budgeting 1 to 3% of your home’s value for maintenance and repairs each year.

If I assume that my home's value is $300,000 (which is probably high right now), that's $3000-$9000 per year in maintenance.

And actually, I think in 2005 I spent $4700 in materials for maintenance and repair. Considering that's just materials, I'm in the ballpark.

Of course, on the side note: my birthday is coming up next friday, and I'm pretty much cash-poor after the whole tax fiasco so no big party. So I'm open to suggestions, particularly if said suggestions involve scantily-clad college girls and recreational substance abuse.

And in the latest poll, I am currently tied with pie, handily beating out Brad Pitt by a two-to-one margin. Considering that American Pie has had a series of successful movies having to do with pie sex, I can comfortably consider myself as sexy enough for sequels.

Of course, that would mean that I'd have to discount the naked and sexy Shannon Elizabeth as being the main source of sexiness in American Pie, and not the whole schwanz-in-the-pie-filling thing.

Speaking of sexy, Marisa Tomei wants me.
