Our wired connection is getting upgraded at work, so in the meantime we are disconnected from the world at large. It's a weird feeling.

Tonight I go through the refi application with Hot Realtor Babe. On the phone, not in person, more's the pity.

I need to mow the yard, it's looking a tad bit jungl-ey. Waiting for a day without rain.

And I need to ride the bike tonight. My schedule for it is six days on, one off, but I may end up changing that to seven days on depending on the numbers. My weight this morning clocked in at ten pounds over yesterday. I'm thinking anomaly, or at least it had better be. It's taken me two weeks to lose those ten pounds, and if I can put them back on in a single day, I'm a shoot myself.

It says something that I'm now listening to a radio station out of KCMO streaming online.

96.5 the Buzz

And yes, I've given up on listening to KTLK online because the only show that I have any affection for anymore is Lambert & Janissek which has been bumped to 5:00-7:00, and I can listen to that in my car on the way home. I'll even occasionally listen to Rush because he's at least entertaining, but Sean Hannity just annoys the crap out of me.

A couple of years ago when I was down in the land of Pigs and Corn, I went to KCMO to go haunting. While down there, I stumbled across The Buzz which had the best mix of tunes that I had heard. For instance it was the first place I heard Coin Operated Boy, months before I heard it up here. It's an independent alternative radio station, which is awesome. Where around here can you hear Morrisey,Bad Religion, Dresden Dolls, Gnarles Barkley, Jimmy Eats World and She Wants Revenge on the same radio station?

Since it is National Analogy Day, this brings me to an analogy:
