What are these "books" of which you speak?

What we have here is the top 106 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing’s users. As in, they sit on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded. Bold the ones you've read, underline the ones you read for school, italicize the ones you started but didn't finish.

I'd add House of Leaves to this list, as well as Lord of the Flies and To Kill a Mockingbird. And really, who has unread books on their bookshelf just to appear all literutt literate?

Still, there are many books on this list that I really want to read. Lolita, Wuthering Heights, anything by Oscar Wilde, More Vonnegut, and I really need to see Les Miserables (not so much read it).  That would also make the assumption that I have reading time available.
