Shooting tonight went well, I think. Some more advanced shots, one of which involved choreographed lighting cues, camera moves, and action taking place in a bathroom-- it was a little cramped. And I'm going to ache from the contortions I needed to get into to get some of this footage.

But damn, it's looking good.

More shooting tomorrow, including a whole bunch of blood effects and prosthetics. It's gonna be a long day.

But damn, it feels good.

We can has blood effects. My still camera is toast or I'd show you pictures; maybe I'll get some tonight with Darthcam. We ended up holding off of most of the special effects stuff-- at least the blood part-- until tonight.

Last night I discovered that my prosthetic adhesive wasn't in my makeup case anymore. I didn't think that we had killed it all with the Klingon Christmas Carol, but there just wasn't any at all, so this afternoon I bounced over to Twin Cities Magic & Costume to get some more. Turns out they were overrun by superheros. :)

I not only picked up the adhesive, I also managed to pick up a Ben Nye makeup bruise wheel and a couple of other things I've needed.

Did some more errands, got some stuff I'm going to try to use as an edge sealer for the silicone prosthetic, some witch hazel, and some synthetic tears, plus a few more things for the blood work.

It's going to be an exciting night.
