I can't find my welding helmet, gloves, or tools.

On a good note, Mom stopped by, bringing war food*.

And a jacket. A new jacket. A really nice Columbia winter jacket.

Of course, it's a 3xL. I wear a 6xL. No, wait, I used to wear a 6, but a 3 is still way too...

...it fits.

Mom scores big. This is very unlike Mom.

*War food: canned meats, veggies, and the like, designed to sit on the shelf for a long time.

Digging around in the basement cleaning, trying to dig up the welding tools. Still no luck. I think I'm going to have to rethink my plan. The welder itself is in the basement, but the mask, gloves, hammer and brushes that I kept in a 5-gal. pail seems to be dog-gone.

The next two weeks are going to be rather tight with money. My big plan is to stay home and work on the house as much as possible while doing the job hunting thing.

It's so very nice of Microsoft to keep correcting my time on my computer after I adjust it an hour ahead. We wouldn't want our time to be off by an hour or anything.
