I hadn't received my shipment from Smooth-On yet. I ordered the silicone prosthetic adhesive from them, since I don't have any, as well as a blood pigment. The order should have been here by now, so I called.
Due to a computer glitch, they hadn't sent it yet.
I need it here by Tuesday. Panic, panic, panic.
They're very apologetic, and are shipping it out today, second day air. It should be here by Tuesday, but I can't count on it, so I had to come up with a backup plan. A standby adhesive that's stronger than the Ben Nye prosthetic adhesive or spirit gum, something skin-safe that will stick to silicone. There used to be this stuff called Pros-Aid that you could get, but it's expensive and only available in Europe & Canada now. There is also a medical prosthetic adhesive available, but expensive and difficult to find, generally requiring a prescription.
Necessity being the mother of invention, I came up with another idea. Since this is only the second time I've worked with the silicone, I needed to do some tests.
