The meat comes in plastic bags, frozen. The first phase is to try and guess the meat before it thaws out; the second (and high-stakes) phase is to try and guess the meat after it thaws out.
Tonight's entry was a partial pack of Farm Fresh franks. There were three left in the package, and they were a really odd color that's really not any normal meat color I've ever seen, sort of a grayish-green.
I microwaved them, but chose not to eat them. I think it was a prudent decision. Sadie was happy. She also got what I think may have been either turkey or tuna; that I couldn't tell made it a fail in the phase 2 round.
It's not all bad, really. I got some quite excellent bacon, and discovered that frozen cheese, once thawed, crumbles beautifully.
