Guess what they did.
I saw it coming. I didn't believe that they would do it, because it's so incredibly stupid, but they are measuring progress against a set of metrics, and one of those metrics is making scheduled dates.
They knew that there were issues. They knew who would bring up those issues. They specifically uninvited those people from the meeting.
So there will be issues. I am now fully in cover your ass mode. My supervisors know that these issues were documented and known and presented. And I just found out that a new meeting was scheduled to specifically address this problem. Exactly how it will be addressed remains to be seen.
Wireless internet problems at the hotel. I may be incommunicado until the weekend.
Possibly fixed. We'll see how long it lasts.
