Snow. Covering Des Moines. And it's the wet, sloppy, greasy snow that makes driving a pain in the ass, and Des Moines drivers... well, I saw some pretty amazing near-accidents, and at least one "how in the hell did that happen" aftermath where a 4-wheel drive SUV was getting towed out of a church lawn.
It was supposed to be 3-6 inches. We had that much by noon, and it just kept coming. It has now changed into big fluffy flakes, and it's still coming down. Easily a foot deep by morning.
It's a good night to tub and sit in front of the fireplace.
