Fifteen inches of snow fell yesterday. I call it porn star surprise snow-- we were expecting 3-6 inches and got fifteen.

My head hurts. I'm finally doing a preliminary excavation of true requirements from the original document, and some of what is there is really difficult to extract. Things like "a compact flash card is required for storage of these lines" have to be turned into things like "if no non-volatile storage medium is present in the system, the user will not be provided with an option to save these line definitions". This then opens up questions like "if a line is defined but not saved, is it still something that can be used by the system?"
Important note that I cannot answer this kind of question. I can only ask it; it must be answered by the project management team.
It takes a long time.
