The Unveiling...

At long last, it is here:

The BladeRunner Quiz!

Bear in mind, it is still under warranty. If you come across any crashes, let me know.

Yay! That was fun! If you're taking suggestions, I'd recommend including the text blurb you print on the page in the code section... it's the best part of the quiz!

Oh, and I had to clean up the code a little bit to get the text to appear properly. It was making the LJ comment stuff appear in the wrong place, somehow. The code was missing the <TABLE> tag and one set of <TR> and <TD> tags.

Here's the final code I used in my journal, with what I added in blue.

<p><a href=http://www.magic-marmot.com/html/_brquiz.htm><img src=http://www.magic-marmot.com/images/jpeg/blade/deckard.jpg alt=rick deckard></a></p>
<p><b><h2>I am <i>Rick Deckard.</i></h2></b></p>
<p><b>Which BladeRunner character are you?</b></p>
Once upon a time, you were considered the best of the best. In your mind, you just wanted to do your job in the best way possible.
Unfortunately, you got jaded and tired of all the bullshit. While you could do tremendous things, you are hobbled by the powers that be. It may be time to set out on your own path, if you can get past the bitterness.

A time of flux is coming, if it has not already arrived. You will get your chance to shine, and whether you sink or swim will be on your shoulders.

Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.

I also removed the </center> tag that was in there, because there was no opening <center> tag.

I moved the web pointer to the end myself so it was cued with the 'Which BladeRunner character Are You?'. Otherwise the entire post as a link. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm just anal. :)

So I removed the http from the beginning and put it at the end.

Which BladeRunner character are you?

There should also be quotes framing the data for href=, src=, and alt=. Thus,

and so on.

Unfortunately, the way I'm writing the html code is using document.write, which requires a quoted string. Having quotes inside the string causes an error. I'm sure there's a way around it, I just haven't found it yet.

good suggestions all.
The downside of the text in the textbox thing under development was that I couldn't test it until it was actually up on the website. I'll fluff around with it a little.
