Free-floating anxiety

There's a reason that I don't play videogames much.

If I come across a game that I really like, i will get so sucked into it, that everything else will simply cease to exist. I won't do laundry, walk the pets, cook food, clean, anything else. I'm not strong that way. Of course, I'm very tempted.

Not much else happening.

Mystery meat of the day:
Chicken. Definitely chicken.

mainlining...
I have Unreal on the machine, which I fear for its absorptive quality. And I unloaded Max Payne for much the same reason.
I don't have a problem. Really.

Hey Mr. Owns-a-home-and-fixes-things? You have a good stud finder? Or a talent for such? I have shelving I'm fine with installing myself but I can't even find the studs to figure out a method. I was wondering if it's some testosterone induced skill.

Finding studs
No, I don't. I haven't really needed one, I just drill until I come across one and then fill in the holes later.
Most modern studfinders don't work well with plaster walls because the plaster is put on in three or more layers, and it's backed with wood lath.

Re: Finding studs
Heh. I know my luck. I'll hit a electrical cord or a pipe. :D

Ah well. Maybe a penny nail tap
