Well, except for things like siding and trim detail, and some work around the doors, but for all intents and purposes, it is a shed, it is waterproof, and it is reasonably secure.
This is largely thanks to Bryan, who pulled through today in making sure it was done, and Barb who offered to take over for me as I was feeling rather under the weather.
I still need to create access doors, add the venting internally, and create a latch system that is better than what I currently have, but in all it is a happy-making thing.
And I am exhausted.
The house needs a bunch of work. And it will take several dumpsters... several large dumpsters... to handle the mess that remains. It will take one large dumpster just for the front porch.
I still need to go through stuff.
No Rick, I still need to go through stuff. :)
My friend Jessica had her graduation party today-- she's now a Master in Art Education (though we call her Mistress). Her hubby Colin has volunteered to help install the boiler (he's a professional HVAC contractor, which doesn't suck). I stopped by briefly. Had I felt better, I would have been happy to frolic with the hot bikini-clad babes, but I was feeling way too icky to be flirty.
And that's the sad part. I had a doctor visit on Friday, and he changed my medication again. And I think I'm not liking the new cholesterol meds (Crestor). It might be something else, so I need to settle for a bit but I was pretty swollen and sore today-- more than I should have been for the amount of work.
TV show on the Discovery channel-- Ninjas vs. Samurai. I must sleep, but I am absorbed.
