Assuming that I ride the bike four days a week and lift weights three:
Bike: 30 min, 350 cal
Weights: 60 min, 500 cal (est)
Week: (4*350) + (3*500) = 2900 cal/week
Assuming 4 weeks left, I only make 11600. And that's assuming no days
off, which I can't really swing with two trips back to Minneapolis. I
might be able to make it up because I do ride on weekends when I'm here,
and I'll probably lift, too.
Although looking at it in a slightly different light, if I were to ride
the bike for an extra 15 minutes or so, I could probably wrangle a
500-calorie burn. Follow that up with an hour of weights, and I hit my
1000-calorie a day goal.
Cripes, it's doable.
