I'll guess somewhere around a hundred. It's hard to say, because some of them are packaged things like the 50 Cheap-Ass Horror Movies For A Buck, which I don't count as 50 movies. Some day I should really catalog all of these and see, but it hasn't really been a priority.
I also don't count the myriad VHS tapes that are scattered about.
2) The last film I bought:
Mmm... Signs (M Knight Shyamalan), in the cheapie bin at Walgreens.
3) The last film I watched:
In the theater: Star Wars Episode III
Continuously on DVD: Team America World Police
In pieces: Inugami
Currently watching: Donnie Darko, Director's cut w/commentary
4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me (in no particular order):
I don't watch a lot of movies over and over. There are a few favorites, and I'll try and scatter them across categories:
a.) To Have and Have Not. Bogie & Bacall at their best.
b.) Citizen Kane or A Touch of Evil. Orson Welles with some amazing camera work.
c.) North by Northwest. Hitchcock's finest in my book.
d.) Star Wars (the original), which changed the way movies were made. Also Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Incredibles for the way in which they tell stories.
e.) Bite Me! or The Screaming Corpse, for setting the bar.
5) Either tag 5 people and have them put this in their journal or touch yourself in an inappropriate fashion:
Consider me fondled.
