I suspect that I'm not getting enough REM sleep. I don't know if it's sleeping conditions, or allergies, or Feng Shui, or whateverthehellthelatestthingis, but I don't particularly feel refreshed after sleeping anymore.
And in the morning when the alarm clock goes off, I am almost always in mid-dream, in the kind of place that you need time to recover from.
I'm also having problems with the bed. It may sound a little strange, but I simply cannot keep the mattress pad and fitted sheet to stay; it's like I keep spinning widdershins in my sleep and I keep pulling those sheets right off the bed.
I have an idea that may help with that. You know the black binder clips that you find in office supply stores? I figure I can use a couple of those to clip the sheets to the mattress. That should at least help.
Then again, I really kind of want to move the bed. Seeing as I'm pretty much the only one who sleeps in it aside from the pets, I can shove it up against a wall and have a bit more room in the room so to speak. Since the bedroom is fairly small, a little bit helps.
It's maybe a touch adolescent. And although touching adolescents is something that I could probably be arrested for, I think nobody is likely to give much of a rat's ass if I have my bed tucked up against a wall or not.
Long weekend this weekend. I think there must be sleep in there somewhere. I should use this weekend for labor, as it is Labor Day weekend, which probably means concrete. As in "I hereby reserve this weekend for me to be doing concrete work", because I bloody need to get it done.
Gah. I should be sleeping.
