Tony's blog has more pictures of the production. This is behind-the-scenes stuff.





This is the big-ass butterfly that we used to bounce the world's largest blacklight to make for the night blue wash.



A bit blurry, but you can see a bit of the lighting in place. And the fact that just outside, it's daylight.
That is the setup for these shots:






Another setup. The lighting is much more visible in this one, with a pretty decent shot of the ubiquitous china balls.
Josh is on the floor booming, Tony in the back on camera, I'm on the far left motion-blurring.

I've been an actor several times. It can be a lot of fun, but it's also some very hard work, emotionally draining. To be really good, you need to be able to expose yourself, and become very vulnerable.

The behind-the-scenes stuff I've found to be more my speed, and I seem to have a thing for lighting and composition. It is very much craft, but there is an element of artistry to it that I really like.
