One of the things that I really like about livejournal is occasional coming across people's interests and realizing that they are deeper than you knew. It's not that I generally find people shallow, it's that I like finding out more about people. Especially women-people. I just find it very cool that a woman who I'm starting to know suddenly turns out to have some eclectic interest like 12th century Bavarian poetry, and can actually wax passionate about it for a bit.
