SO yeah, I got a bunch of games for the PC now, as well as a video card to handle the kickassery that I need to play them:
  • HALO PC

  • DOOM 3

  • Half-Life 2

  • Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

  • Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay

  • Silent Hill 3

  • Silent Hill 4

You see, winter is coming. I'll be done with the principal shooting for this film. The porch will be as done as it can be within the realm of things that I can do in warm weather. There is work to do on the Big Broken Box™, but I'm gonna need some serious play time. And since my favorite play-time toy (i.e. woman) is not looking very likely, I'm planning ahead. And while I enjoy playing games on the PC, woman has a much more fun interface than W/A/S/D.

I'm also thinking of moving the Black Box down into the Room Where No One Walks and turning that into the editing/gaming room/library. Functionally, it means that I could close off the upstairs and not deal with heating it all winter, which would likely save on the gas bill. It also means that I could pretty much gut the studio and be all remodel-y without worrying about the equipment getting dust or crap in it.

Then again, it also means that I'll be in a position to take on a roommate if it becomes a good idea.

I realized last night that the upstairs bathroom, even without a roof remodel, would be a much better place to put a luxury tub. The bathroom itself needs to be expanded, but it can be without too exceedingly much trouble.

Cool thing would be to find a roommate that is good with tools and could help with the remodeling and repair. That could be very beneficial all 'round.

Of course, a couple of hot Swedish Swimsuit models would be good too.

Especially if they were good with tools.
