Evidently there was some wind last night.

I woke up this morning to some oddities. Somehow, my new barbecue grill had taken a nosedive off the deck and was lying in re-kitted form on the lawn. I know there are some broken pieces, but I didn't deal with trying to put it together again yet-- I'll assess the damage later tonight.
A few other things were blown around, things that had no business being blown around, like steel pipes and large sheets of wood and wheelbarrows. And cripes, the stuff from the front porch I don't even want to think about. I'm betting that there are pieces of stuff that are blocks away by now.

Too bad it didn't blow shingles off of my roof.
