Some things science just can't explain. Such as the mystery of how a perfect creator turned himself into one of his less-than perfect creations--a man--but still remained perfect.
Didn't we ever get past this?
I always went with the assumption that any scholarly discussion of theology had some core understandings of icons and symbols and literary license, rather than making literal decisions.
Maybe it's where I came from, but I have much more belief in Yeshua the man and teacher and prophet than in Jesus being the creator enfleshed. I can have discussions in a very real and enlightening sense when I'm not confronted with "it's divine therefore you are wrong".
It's almost like "I'm the president, I make the law."
