SO apparently, I've been-- get this-- undereating.

Which is fine from the weight loss perspective, but disaster from a diabetes perspective. It means that my liver has gone into overtime trying to bump up my blood glucose levels.

The new medication makes it imperative that I eat somewhere between 45-60 non-fiber carbs per 3 meals and 15-30 before bed, moderated with protien and fat.

Makes sense to me, because iirc, you're on a glucophage. They predicate those on a pretty steady baseline. Dropping the baseline means the meds eat more of your sugar, so your brain and nervous system get less.
