Very likely you will have to convince someone of something today. This will probably not be an argument, but rather a situation in which you have to present your case with vigor and energy. But if someone tries to talk you into something, you will defend your own position vehemently and successfully. This influence is not as argumentative as it sounds. People will not see you as spoiling for a fight, nor will they be particularly likely to pick a fight. Instead they will respect you for taking a stand for your own beliefs. Your inner confidence in your ideas and beliefs will help you initiate and take advantage of the opportunities that come your way. Do not be reluctant to use them. Under this influence you should be successful.

Try not to be so stubborn. I recognise that saying this is like telling a Gemini not to think too much or urging a Scorpio to be less sensitive. By nature you are purposeful and determined. There is nothing wrong with this, but sometimes it can cause you to plough bravely ahead without stopping first, to consider other options. You want to finish what you have started. You can. You will. You might not, though, achieve this in quite the way you expect to be able to. Someone is now trying to drop a big hint. Be open to it.

Taurus philosopher Bertrand Russell gave this testimony about what motivated him: "Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and an unbearable pity for the suffering of humanity." To be in maximum alignment with cosmic rhythms, Taurus, I suggest that you boil down your desires to a slightly altered version of Russell's: a longing to both give and receive love, a hunger for knowledge, and a yearning to alleviate the suffering of your fellow humans.

Is it my imagination, or are the first two contradictory?
